Obituary of Howard Schutzbank

Howard Schutzbank, 79, of Stewartsville, NJ and previously of Lakewood, NJ and Madison, WI passed away on February 6, 2023 at home with his loving wife by his side. Howard was born on August 11, 1943 in Lakewood, NJ to the late Saul and Rose Schutzbank. He was a graduate of Lakewood High School and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged he would work many years for Bruker and Siemens as a technical support supervisor. Howard loved antique cars and enjoyed skiing. He was an avid New York Giants fan. Howard was known as a handyman to many and loved working with his hands. He enjoyed working on his lawn, using his tractor and many outside projects. Howard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth, their son Michael and his wife, Rhonda Fleischer. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren; Matthew and Ruby Schutzbank, and a sister, Helene Morrell and her husband Ted, and a niece, Shirley Lawrence and nephew, Ron Morrell. A funeral service celebrating Howard's life will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Jewish Center of Northwest Jersey, 115 Youmans Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
